Data Validation Tool Documentation

Overview

  • The tool is designed to validate on-ground collected data to ensure its accuracy and credibility.
  • Accessible at: validate.ncount.in
  • Users can log in with the same credentials used on ncount.in.

User Interface

  • The portal UI is straightforward and user-friendly.
  • The main elements displayed are:
    • Image of the tree
    • Image of the tree bark
    • Collected species name
    • Location of the tree

Validation Process

  1. Log In:

  2. Review Data:

    • Upon logging in, you will see images of the tree and its bark.
    • The collected species name and location of the tree will be displayed alongside.
  3. Validate Species Name:

    • Verify if the species name provided for the tree is correct.
    • If the species name is correct:
      • Confirm the validation and proceed to the next tree data.
    • If the species name is incorrect:
      • An input box will appear.
      • Enter the correct species name in the input box.
  4. Submit and Proceed:

    • After entering the correct species name, submit the correction.
    • Move on to the next tree data for validation.
  5. Repeat Process:

    • Continue the validation process for each tree data entry until all data has been reviewed and validated.
