Data Validation Tool Documentation
Overview
- The tool is designed to validate on-ground collected data to ensure its accuracy and credibility.
- Accessible at: validate.ncount.in
- Users can log in with the same credentials used on ncount.in.
User Interface
- The portal UI is straightforward and user-friendly.
- The main elements displayed are:
- Image of the tree
- Image of the tree bark
- Collected species name
- Location of the tree
Validation Process
Log In:
- Access the portal at validate.ncount.in.
- Log in using the credentials from ncount.in.
Review Data:
- Upon logging in, you will see images of the tree and its bark.
- The collected species name and location of the tree will be displayed alongside.
Validate Species Name:
- Verify if the species name provided for the tree is correct.
- If the species name is correct:
- Confirm the validation and proceed to the next tree data.
- If the species name is incorrect:
- An input box will appear.
- Enter the correct species name in the input box.
Submit and Proceed:
- After entering the correct species name, submit the correction.
- Move on to the next tree data for validation.
Repeat Process:
- Continue the validation process for each tree data entry until all data has been reviewed and validated.
